There’s nothing more important than family and in amoungest the chaos and craziness of everyday family life I’ll make sure your session is full of fun, laughter and natural smiles.

Outdoor sessions allow your children to run, play and be themsleves, and whatever their age I will capture the moments that reflect their true personality. These sessions are for the whole family, so why not bring along the dog and get granny and grandad involved too. I've photographed at many different locations, so have places I can recommend but I am always open to new suggestions and ideas if you have somewhere that is special to your family.

Depending on the size of your family and age, there is also the option to visit me at my studio, if this is more you.

Whatever stage your family is at, it’s the perfect time to tell your story!

Where will the session take place?

You have two options either outdoors or at my home studio in Torphins.

Outdoor sessions can be at a place that is special to you, perhaps a favourite woodland walk, by the river or at the beach. If you need a little help choosing I can suggest a location that will make a beautiful setting, whatever the time of year.

Studio sessions are ideal for younger families (2 adults & 2 children) to celebrate milestones such as a first birthday.

How long does the session last

Your session will last around 60 - 90 minutes. However I rarely check my watch and will only finish once I am happy I have all the images I need.

What should we wear?

I always recommend that you keep it simple. I wouldn't necessary say a colour in particular looks better than others however it is nice to choose colours that coordinate with each other. I would suggest that you try and pick items of clothing that are of solid colours and avoid anything that has big bright patterns or logos, which could be distracting. Most importantly you should choose someone that you feel comfortable wearing.

When will we see our photos?

Your online photo gallery link will be emailed over to you within 2-3 weeks, however I do like to send over a sneak preview of around 4 images a day or two after your session. Your gallery will include 40-50 images in a mix of colour and black & white and with the option to share with your family & friends.
